The 3D Locator™ System by Alcyone Systems is a self-contained Situational Awareness product suite specialized in implementing inertial navigation and other sensor data to facilitate accurate tactical navigation in GPS-enabled as well as GPS-denied areas. In addition, the 3D Locator™ System is a tactical command and control system (TC&CS) utilized to locate, identify, and manage assets and sensors in a single electronic map display with “point and click” detailed unit identification.

We have approximately 35 representatives from these sectors who we use on an ongoing basis as advisors and location sites for field testing of our system.

An important feature of our system is that, all of the mobile units form a cluster mesh network so if a responder goes out of range of the base station transceiver, as long another mobile unit is in range of the responder and base station, the information can be forwarded to the base station, effectively extending the range using multiple hops to get out of the building. Finally, the environmental data collected by the sensors in the unit can be used to create a “map” of the environmental conditions inside the structure. No other system has this collection of broad and rich capabilities.
