With some of the most sought-after minds in the industry led by its founder and CEO Frank Morese, Alcyone Systems has extensive experience in developing wireless networking and location tracking systems along with the track record and knowledge of bringing them to market.

Frank A. Morese - Chairman/CEO & Founder

Mr. Morese has over 25 years of experience in the wireless networking and navigational systems field and is a founding member of Alcyone's Management Team. He has stewarded the company to a leading position of delivering solutions to public saftey, first responders and government clients throughout the world. Mr. Morese also leads Alcyone's Government Solutions Team, which is focused on the development of location tracking solutions for first responders and the Homeland Security Agency.

Since 1978, Morese has pioneered in the advancement of GPS, RF, microwave, and millimeter wave technologies. As an entrepreneur with keen marketing insights into global emerging markets, he has developed successful strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and created/executed plans in start-up situations. One of his most successful ventures was the acquisition of Trillium Digital Systems to Intel for $300 Million in August of 2000. There he focused on emerging communication applications for next generation WAN networks i.e. Wireless cellular, Broadband and VoIP for the enterprise marketplace as well as infrastructure for service providers.

He has held numerous senior management and technical positions with industry leaders. His experience also includes wireless networking and mobile technologies (GSM, GPRS, 3GPP, WCDMA, WLAN, CDMA2000, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11, WiMax, RFID, GPS and UWB).

Mr. Morese holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University of Boston, MA. Mr. Morese also attended school at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Wharton School of Finance.
