For the law enforcement segment, the ability of a chief incident commander to know the accurate location of every law enforcement officer in and around a building has obvious advantages, including the knowledge to intelligently reposition individual units and the ability to quickly rescue individuals who are incapacitated or trapped.

Special Law enforcement teams have a significant need for real time situational awareness along with the capability to transmit real time video at an incident scene. SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics; originally Special Weapons Assault Team) is a specialized unit in many United States police departments, which is trained to perform dangerous operations. The SWAT is comprised of officers and supervisors who receive specialized training in weaponry, less lethal munitions, tactical responses, and negotiations. These can include serving high-risk arrest warrants, performing hostage rescue, preventing terrorist attacks, and engaging heavily-armed criminals.

Truck command posts for communications and logistics are used where SWAT teams need the use of wireless video to be transmitted to base station.

Our 3D Locator™ system adapts from in building environment to wide open rural areas as an example desert areas. Today some use the commercialy available magellan systems primarily for fleet, however this system does not have the capability to have the situation awareness the Alcyone 3D Locator™ System provides officers in buildings and in areas where GPS signals are unavailable.
